INBULK platform v1.0 released

Counterparties

Browse, search, and interact with other companies on the INBULK platform. The Counterparties section is your gateway to discovering potential trading partners, viewing their public information, managing favorites, and building business relationships through reviews and document sharing.

🏢 1. Company Directory

Overview

The Counterparties page displays all registered companies on the INBULK platform in a filterable list. You can browse through companies, view summary cards, and access detailed company profiles.

Company Card Information

Each company in the directory is displayed as a card showing:

  • 🏢 Company Name — official registered name
  • 🏷️ Company Type — buyer, seller, logistics provider, or combination
  • 🌍 Country — country of registration
  • Rating — average rating based on reviews from other platform users
  • 💼 Activity Types — production, trading, logistics, warehouse services, etc.

Browsing the List

  1. Navigate to Counterparties in the main sidebar
  2. The list loads with all available companies
  3. Scroll down to load more entries — the list uses infinite scroll
  4. Click on any company card to open their Company Detail Page
  5. New companies are loaded automatically as you reach the bottom of the list

List Sorting

The company directory can be browsed in its default order. Companies you have previously worked with (Partners) and companies you have starred (Favorites) can be accessed quickly through the filter system described in the next section.

💡 Tip: The directory shows all registered companies, regardless of whether you have done business with them. Use filters to narrow down the list to companies relevant to you.

📱 Mobile: On mobile devices, the company directory uses the same infinite scroll with touch-optimized cards. Swipe up to load more companies.

🔍 2. Search and Filters

Use the search field at the top of the Counterparties page to find companies by:

  • 🏢 Company Name — partial or full name match
  • 🔢 EDRPOU Code — Ukrainian business identification number (8-digit code)

Results update in real time as you type.

💡 Tip: If you know the company’s EDRPOU or TIN, searching by these codes is the fastest and most precise way to find them.

Request Statuses

StatusDescription
PendingRequest sent, awaiting the company owner’s decision
ApprovedAccess granted, documents are now visible
DeniedThe company owner declined the request

⚠️ Important: Document access is granted at the company level. If access is approved, all employees of your company with the appropriate permissions can view the documents.

💡 Tip: When requesting access, it helps if you have already established a business relationship with the company. Owners are more likely to approve requests from known trading partners.

⭐ 7. Reviews and Ratings

The review system helps build trust on the platform. After completing a business with a counterparty, you can leave a review to share your experience.

Viewing Reviews

  1. Open the company’s Company Detail Page
  2. Go to the Reviews tab
  3. You will see:
    • Overall Rating — average star rating across all reviews
    • 📊 Total Number of Reviews

Leaving a Review

⚠️ Important: You can only leave a review for a company after you have completed at least one business together on the platform.

  1. Open the company’s Company Detail Page
  2. Go to the Reviews tab
  3. Click “Leave a Review” (this button only appears if you have a completed business)
  4. Select a star rating from 1 to 5:
RatingMeaning
Very Poor
⭐⭐Poor
⭐⭐⭐Average
⭐⭐⭐⭐Good
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Excellent
  1. Write a text comment describing your experience (optional but recommended)
  2. Click “Submit Review”

Review Guidelines

  • ✅ Be honest and constructive in your feedback
  • ✅ Mention specifics: delivery reliability, communication quality, product quality
  • ✅ Include context about the type of deal (grain purchase, logistics service, etc.)
  • ❌ Do not include personal information or offensive language
  • ❌ Do not post reviews based on hearsay — only review companies you have worked with directly
  • ❌ Reviews cannot be edited after submission — take your time before posting

How Ratings Are Calculated

The company’s overall rating is calculated as an average of all individual star ratings received:

  • Each review contributes equally to the average
  • The rating is displayed with one decimal point (e.g., 4.3 out of 5)
  • The total number of reviews is shown alongside the rating
  • New reviews update the average immediately

Viewing Your Own Reviews

To see reviews you have written:

  1. Navigate to the company’s Reviews tab
  2. Your review (if any) is highlighted or labeled as “Your Review”
  3. You can see when you posted the review and what rating you gave

💡 Tip: Detailed reviews with specific feedback are more helpful to other platform users than generic comments. Mention what went well and what could be improved.

⚠️ Important: Reviews are public and visible to all platform users. They reflect on your company’s professionalism as well, so maintain a respectful and business-appropriate tone.
