Requisites (Bank Accounts)
Managing your companyโs bank account details for financial operations on the INBULK platform. Bank accounts (requisites) are used when creating invoices, processing payments, and exchanging payment instructions with counterparties. This section covers how to add, validate, manage, and share your bank account information.
๐ฆ 1. Bank Account List

The Requisites page displays all bank accounts registered for your company. Each entry shows the key details needed for financial operations.

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| ๐ข IBAN | International Bank Account Number โ the primary identifier |
| ๐ฆ Bank Name | Name of the financial institution |

Navigating to Bank Accounts
- Go to Settings in the main sidebar
- Select Requisites (or Bank Accounts)
- You will see a list of all registered bank accounts for your company
- Each account is displayed as a card or row with the information listed above
Account Display
Bank accounts are displayed in the order they were added. Each account card provides a clear summary of the key details at a glance:
- The IBAN is prominently displayed as the primary identifier
- Currency is shown with its international code (UAH, USD, EUR)
- Bank Name helps you quickly distinguish between accounts at different financial institutions
- Action buttons for Share and Delete are accessible directly from the card
๐ก Tip: You can register multiple bank accounts with different currencies. This is useful if your company trades internationally and needs to receive payments in USD or EUR in addition to UAH.
๐ฑ Mobile: On mobile devices, bank account cards are optimized for touch interaction with swipe actions for quick access to share and delete options.
โ 2. Adding a Bank Account
Overview
Adding a bank account is straightforward โ you enter the IBAN and the system automatically validates it and fills in the bank details. You can add multiple accounts in a single dialog session.
Step-by-Step
- Go to Settings > Requisites
- Click the โAdd Bank Accountโ button
- A dialog window opens with the IBAN input field
- Enter the IBAN number in the input field
Automatic Validation and Auto-Fill
- As you enter the IBAN, the system validates the format automatically via API
- If the IBAN is valid, the system auto-fills the following fields:
- ๐ฆ Bank Name โ identified from the IBAN
- ๐ BIC/SWIFT Code โ resolved automatically
- ๐ข MFO Code โ Ukrainian bank code, populated automatically
- The currency is determined based on the IBAN country and bank details
โ ๏ธ Important: Auto-populated fields (Bank Name, BIC/SWIFT, MFO) cannot be manually overridden. This ensures data accuracy and prevents incorrect bank details from being saved.
Adding Multiple Accounts
- After the first account is validated, you can click โAdd Anotherโ to add an additional bank account in the same dialog session
- Repeat steps 4-7 for each new account
- When finished, click โSaveโ or โConfirmโ to save all added accounts at once
๐ก Tip: Prepare all your IBAN numbers before opening the dialog. Adding multiple accounts in one session is faster than opening the dialog multiple times.
What Happens After Saving
- โ The new bank account(s) appear in your requisites list
- ๐ Status is set to Active by default
- ๐ผ The account is immediately available for use in invoices and payment instructions
- ๐ No confirmation email is sent โ the account is active instantly
Example: Adding a UAH Bank Account
Here is an example of what the process looks like:
- You enter IBAN:
UA903052992990004149123456789 - The system validates the format โ โ green checkmark appears
- Auto-filled fields populate:
- Bank Name: PrivatBank
- BIC/SWIFT: PBANUA2X
- MFO: 305299
- Currency: UAH (determined automatically)
- You click โSaveโ โ the account is added to your list
โ 3. IBAN Validation
How It Works
INBULK uses real-time API validation when you enter an IBAN. The validation process ensures that only legitimate, correctly formatted bank account details are stored in the system.
Validation Steps
| Step | What Happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | You start typing the IBAN in the input field |
| 2 | The system checks the format (length, country prefix, check digits) |
| 3 | If format is valid, the system queries the bank identification API |
| 4 | The API returns bank name, BIC/SWIFT, and MFO code |
| 5 | Auto-filled fields are displayed and locked (read-only) |
Validation Indicators
- โ Green checkmark โ IBAN is valid, bank details resolved successfully
- โ Red error message โ IBAN is invalid or not recognized
- โณ Loading spinner โ validation is in progress (API call in flight)
Why Auto-Fill Cannot Be Overridden
The bank details are populated from an official bank registry via API. Allowing manual overrides could lead to:
- โ Incorrect BIC/SWIFT codes causing failed international transfers
- โ Mismatched bank names causing confusion with counterparties
- โ Wrong MFO codes causing domestic transfer issues
By locking these fields, INBULK guarantees that your bank details are always accurate and consistent.
๐ก Tip: If the IBAN validation returns an error but you believe the number is correct, double-check for typos โ especially the first two country-code letters and the check digits that follow.
โ ๏ธ Important: Currently, IBAN validation supports Ukrainian (UA) bank accounts with the most comprehensive auto-fill. Other countriesโ IBANs may have limited auto-fill capabilities.
โ๏ธ 4. Editing Bank Accounts
Platform Availability
| Platform | Editing Available | Method |
|---|---|---|
| ๐ฑ Mobile | โ Yes | Inline editing in the list |
| ๐ฅ๏ธ Desktop | โ No | Not currently supported |
Editing on Mobile
- Open the INBULK app on your mobile device
- Navigate to Settings > Requisites
- Tap on the bank account you want to edit
- The account fields become editable inline
- Modify the associated details as needed
- Tap โSaveโ to apply changes
What Can Be Edited
| Field | Editable? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ๐ข IBAN | โ No | Cannot be changed โ delete and re-add if needed |
| ๐ฆ Bank Name | โ No | Auto-populated and locked |
| ๐ BIC/SWIFT | โ No | Auto-populated and locked |
| ๐ข MFO | โ No | Auto-populated and locked |
| ๐ฑ Currency | โ No | Determined by the IBAN |
| ๐ Notes | โ Yes | Add a personal label or description for the account |
โ ๏ธ Important: Even on mobile, the core IBAN and auto-populated bank details (Bank Name, BIC/SWIFT, MFO) cannot be changed. If you need a different IBAN, delete the account and add a new one.
๐ก Tip: If you need to edit a bank account and are working from a desktop computer, use your mobile device to make the change. The update will sync immediately and be visible on all platforms.
๐๏ธ 5. Deleting Bank Accounts

- Go to Settings > Requisites
- Find the bank account you want to delete
- Click the โDeleteโ button (trash icon)
- A confirmation dialog appears asking you to confirm the deletion
- Click โConfirmโ to permanently remove the bank account
Deletion Restrictions
โ ๏ธ Important: You cannot delete a bank account that is currently used in active businesses. The system will display an error message if you attempt to do so.
| Scenario | Can Delete? | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Account not used in any business | โ Yes | Freely deletable |
| Account used in active businesses | โ No | Must wait until all related businesses are completed |
| Account used in completed businesses | โ Yes | Historical records are preserved independently |
What Happens After Deletion
- โ The bank account is permanently removed from your requisites list
- ๐ Historical invoices and documents that referenced this account are not affected โ they retain the bank details as they were at the time of creation
- ๐ If you need to re-add the same account later, go through the full addition process again
๐ก Tip: Before deleting an account, check if any pending invoices or upcoming businesses reference it. Switch those to a different account first if possible.

How many bank accounts can I add?
There is no strict limit on the number of bank accounts per company. You can add as many as your business requires.
