Storages (Delivery Points)
Managing your delivery points — warehouses, elevators, terminals, and ports — used for order fulfillment and logistics on the INBULK platform. Storages define the loading and unloading locations for your trades and deliveries.
🏢 Storage List
What will you see?
Opening the Storages section, you will see a list of all delivery points registered to your company.
Storage Card Structure
Each storage card displays:
- 🏷️ Name — storage name (for example, “Elevator Chernihiv”)
- 📍 Address — full address of the delivery point
- 🚛 Transport Types — icons showing supported transport:
- 🚚 Auto (truck delivery)
- 🚂 Rail (railway delivery)
- 🚢 Ship (water transport delivery)
- 🕐 Working Hours — operating schedule (for example,
Mon-Fri 08:00 - 18:00)
Search
Use the search bar at the top of the list to quickly find a storage by name or address. Results filter as you type.
➕ Creating a Private Storage
When to use?
When you need to add a delivery point that is specific to your company and not available in the public registry (for example, a private warehouse or a company-owned terminal).
Step 1. Open the creation form
- Click the “Add Storage” button
- Select “Create New” from the dropdown menu
- A form will open for entering storage details
Step 2. Fill in general information
- 📝 Storage Name — give a descriptive name (for example, “Warehouse Odesa South”)
- 🏗️ Type — select the storage type:
- Warehouse — general storage facility
- Elevator — grain elevator for bulk commodities
- Terminal — logistics terminal with loading/unloading infrastructure
- Port — sea or river port facility
- 📄 Description — optional text describing the storage, special instructions, or notes
Step 3. Set the address
- In the “Address” field, start typing the address
- The system uses geocoding via API to find matching locations
- Select the correct address from the suggestions
- A pin appears on the interactive map showing the location
- If the pin position is slightly off, manually drag the pin to the precise location on the map
💡 Tip: Zoom into the map before adjusting the pin to get a more accurate placement. The coordinates update automatically when you move the pin.
Step 4. Configure working hours
Set operating hours for each day of the week:
- For each day (Monday through Sunday), specify:
- Opening time (for example,
08:00) - Closing time (for example,
18:00)
- Opening time (for example,
- Mark days as closed if the storage does not operate on that day
- Use the copy function to apply the same hours to multiple days
⚠️ Important: Working hours are visible to other platform users when they view your storage as a delivery point. Make sure they accurately reflect actual operating times.
Step 5. Set transport conditions
- Select supported transport types — check one or more:
- ✅ Auto — truck delivery is supported
- ✅ Rail — railway delivery is supported
- ✅ Ship — water transport delivery is supported
- Specify vehicle constraints (for auto transport):
- Max vehicle length (meters)
- Max vehicle width (meters)
- Max vehicle height (meters)
- Loading/Unloading capabilities — describe available infrastructure:
- Loading methods supported (rear, side, top)
- Available equipment (cranes, conveyors, etc.)
Step 6. Save
- Review all entered information
- Click “Save”
- ✅ The storage appears in your storage list
🗺️ Adding from Public Registry
When to use?
When the delivery point you need already exists in the INBULK public storage registry — for example, a well-known elevator, port, or terminal that other companies also use.
Step 1. Open the public registry
- Click the “Add Storage” button
- Select “From Public Registry” from the dropdown menu
- An interactive map will open with a search bar
Step 2. Search for a storage
You can find storages in two ways:
🔍 Search by name or location:
- In the search bar, type the name of the storage or a location (city, region)
- The map will zoom to matching results
- Matching storage markers appear on the map
🗺️ Browse on the map:
- Pan and zoom the map (powered by OpenStreetMap/Nominatim)
- Storage markers are displayed as pins on the map
- Click a marker to see storage details in a popup
Step 3. Select and add
- Click on a storage marker or search result
- Review the storage details: name, address, type, transport types, working hours
- Click “Add to My Storages”
- ✅ The public storage is now linked to your company’s storage list
💡 Tip: Public storages are maintained by platform administrators. Their details (address, working hours, transport types) are kept up to date centrally, so you don’t need to manage them yourself.
✏️ Editing Storages
How it works?
You can modify any storage that belongs to your company (private storages). Public registry storages cannot be edited — only platform administrators can update those.
Step 1. Open the storage
- In the storage list, click on the storage card you want to edit
- The storage detail form will open
Step 2. Modify fields
You can update any field:
- 📝 Name — change the display name
- 🏗️ Type — switch between warehouse, elevator, terminal, port
- 📄 Description — update notes or instructions
- 📍 Address — change the address; the map pin will recalculate automatically
- 🕐 Working Hours — adjust operating schedule for any day
- 🚛 Transport Conditions — add or remove supported transport types, update vehicle dimension limits
⚠️ Important: When you update the address, the map position is recalculated via geocoding. Always verify the pin position on the map after changing the address.
Step 3. Save changes
- Click “Save”
- ✅ Changes are applied immediately
🗑️ Deleting Storages
How it works?
You can remove a storage from your company’s list when it is no longer needed.
Step 1. Open the storage
- In the storage list, find the storage you want to remove
- Click on the storage card to open its details
Step 2. Delete
- Click the “Delete” button
- A confirmation dialog will appear: “Are you sure you want to delete this storage?”
- Click “Confirm” to proceed
⚠️ Important: You cannot delete a storage that is currently used in active orders or businesses. The system will display an error message if you attempt this. First complete or reassign the active orders, then try deleting again.
What happens after deletion:
- ❌ The storage is removed from your company’s list
- ✅ If it was a public registry storage, it remains in the public registry (only unlinked from your company)
- ✅ Historical records in completed orders are preserved
📢 Report Unknown Storage
When to use?
If you need a delivery point that is not in the public registry and you believe it should be available to all platform users (for example, a new elevator that recently opened).
Step 1. Open the report form
- In the public registry map view, click “Report Unknown Storage”
- A form will open for submitting storage details
Step 2. Fill in storage information
Provide as much detail as possible:
- 📝 Storage Name — official or commonly known name
- 📍 Address — full address or approximate location
- 🏗️ Type — warehouse, elevator, terminal, or port
- 📄 Additional Details — any relevant information (contact details, owner company, transport capabilities)
Step 3. Submit
- Click “Submit Report”
- ✅ Your report is sent to platform administrators for review
- Administrators will verify the information and add the storage to the public registry
💡 Tip: The more accurate details you provide, the faster the storage will be added. Include the official company name and exact address if possible.
📱 Mobile: 5-Step Wizard
How it works?

- Select the storage type (warehouse, elevator, terminal, port)
- Optionally add a description
- Click “Next”
Step 2. Address
- Enter the address in the search field
- Select from the suggested results
- Click “Next”
Step 3. Map Confirmation
- Review the pin position on the interactive map
- If the location is incorrect, drag the pin to the correct position
- Click “Confirm Location”
Step 4. Working Hours
- Set opening and closing times for each day of the week
- Mark any closed days
- Click “Next”
Step 5. Transport Conditions
- Select supported transport types (auto, rail, ship)
- Specify vehicle dimension limits if applicable
- Select loading/unloading methods
- Click “Save”
✅ The storage is created and appears in your list.
💡 Tip: You can go back to any previous step using the “Back” button to review or change your inputs before saving.
💡 Tips and Possible Errors
Tips:
- ✓ Use descriptive names for storages — this helps when selecting delivery points in orders
- ✓ Always verify the map pin position after entering an address
- ✓ Keep working hours up to date — carriers rely on this information to plan deliveries
- ✓ If a public storage has incorrect information, report it to platform administrators
- ✓ Add all your frequently used delivery points in advance — this speeds up order creation
- ✓ On mobile, use the 5-step wizard for a smoother experience with small screens
⚠️ Possible Errors:
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Address not found by geocoding | Incorrect or incomplete address entered | Try entering a more specific address with city and region, or use the map to place the pin manually |
| Map pin in wrong location | Geocoding returned approximate coordinates | Drag the pin manually to the correct location on the map |
| Cannot delete storage | Storage is used in active orders or businesses | Complete or reassign active orders first, then retry deletion |
| ”Add Storage” button not visible | Insufficient permissions | Check that your user role has permission to manage storages in company settings |
| Working hours not saving | Opening time is later than closing time | Ensure the opening time is earlier than the closing time for each day |
| Transport types not selectable | No transport types configured on the platform | Contact platform support — at least one transport type must be available |
| Public registry search returns no results | Storage not yet added to registry | Use “Report Unknown Storage” to request its addition |
