Notifications

The notification system on the INBULK platform keeps you informed about important events related to your trading activity, orders, logistics, documents, and team. Notifications ensure you never miss critical updates that require your attention or action.

Overview

The Notification Center is accessible via the bell icon in the platform header. It displays all recent notifications for your account, organized by priority and time.

Accessing Notifications

  1. Look for the bell icon πŸ”” in the top-right corner of the platform header
  2. A notification count badge appears when you have unread notifications
  3. Click the bell icon to open the notification dropdown menu
  4. The menu shows your most recent notifications with unread count at the top

πŸ’‘ Tip: If you have more than 99 unread notifications, the badge will display β€œ99+”.

Each notification in the list shows:

Notifications are color-coded to help you quickly identify their importance:

Priority Order

Notifications are displayed with priority ordering:

  1. Company documents required β€” always shown first
  2. Expiring documents β€” shown as high priority
  3. All other notifications β€” sorted by most recent first

⚑ 4. Action-Required Notifications

Some notifications require an immediate response directly from the notification panel:

Invitation Notifications

When you receive a company invitation:

  1. The notification displays β€œAccept” and β€œDecline” buttons
  2. Click β€œAccept” to join the company
  3. Click β€œDecline” to reject the invitation
  4. The notification is marked as read after your action

Document Access Requests

When a counterparty requests access to your documents:

  1. The notification shows who is requesting access
  2. Click β€œAccept” to grant document access
  3. Click β€œDecline” to deny the request

Most other notifications navigate you to the relevant page when clicked:

  • Order notifications β†’ Open the order details
  • Business notifications β†’ Open the business page
  • Chat notifications β†’ Open the business chat

Notifications are delivered in real-time via WebSocket connection:

  • New notifications appear instantly without page refresh
  • The bell icon badge updates automatically
  • Notification count syncs across browser tabs

⚠️ Important: If you notice notifications are not appearing in real-time, check your internet connection. The platform will sync notifications when the connection is restored.
