This Policy sets out the conditions and procedure for using cookies and other similar technologies that store information on a device or access such information on the INBULK.COM Website and web application. To the extent that the use of such technologies involves the processing of personal data, the provisions of the Privacy Policy apply in parallel.
1. Status
1.1. This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1.2. Necessary technologies are used for operation and security. Optional technologies are applied in accordance with the User’s choice and the requirements of applicable law. Where their use requires prior consent, such technologies are not activated until that consent is obtained.
2. What a cookie is
2.1. A cookie is a small file that the browser stores on a device. This Policy also covers local and session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, device identifiers and other technologies that store information on a Visitor’s device or access such information.
3. Categories
| Category | Purpose | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | session, login, CSRF, security, load balancing, consent record, language | normally cannot be switched off through the CMP, but may be deleted in the browser |
| Functional | settings, remembered choices, enhanced features | applied with consent, where the law requires it |
| Analytical | measurement of use, errors, performance, product analytics | with consent or another permitted basis; minimisation of IP and data |
| Marketing | campaigns, attribution, personalisation of advertising | only after proper consent, if used |
| Security / anti-fraud | anomaly detection, bot and fraud detection, account protection | may be necessary depending on the feature |
4. First- and third-party
4.1. First-party technologies are set by the INBULK domain; third-party ones by an integrated provider. The engagement of a third party and international transfers are governed by the Privacy Policy.
5. Consent manager
5.1. On the first visit, where required, a panel is displayed offering equally prominent options to accept, reject optional categories or configure the choice.
5.2. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and revocable. Refusal of optional cookies must not block basic B2B features that do not depend on them.
5.3. The User’s choice regarding optional cookies and similar technologies is recorded by the Platform in a record of choice. Such a record may contain the selected categories and purposes of use, the date and time of the choice, the edition of this Policy, the version or settings of the consent management panel, a pseudonymised identifier, and information about any subsequent change or withdrawal of consent.
6. Retention periods
6.1. Session cookies are stored only for the current session of using the Website or web application and are generally deleted once that session ends. Persistent cookies are stored for the period set for them or until the User deletes them. Information about the name of a cookie, its provider, the purpose of use and the retention period is set out in the Consent Manager and/or in the current cookie register.
6.2. The retention period for cookies and similar technologies is determined by the purpose of their use and must be no longer than is reasonably necessary to achieve that purpose. Records of the User’s choice regarding cookies and similar technologies (consent records) may be kept longer where this is necessary to evidence the consent given, its change or withdrawal, and to comply with applicable law.
7. Actual register
7.1. Before this Policy is published, the Operator carries out an actual review of the cookies, local storage and other similar technologies used on the INBULK.COM Website and web application and, based on the results of that review, compiles and maintains the corresponding register.
7.2. A dynamic register in the CMP prevails over a static example, provided that it contains accurate current data and does not change a category without new consent. Where the purpose of use, the category, the material composition of providers or other conditions affecting a previously given choice change, the information in the Consent Manager is updated and, where applicable law requires, the User is asked to make a new choice or give new consent.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Period | Transfer |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shown in the CMP | Shown in the CMP | — | — | — | — |
Important: this row is not an actual cookie. The publication gate requires it to be replaced with an automatically generated production register, or access to the full register to be provided directly in the CMP.
8. Management through the browser
8.1. The User may independently delete or block cookies through the settings of their browser. At the same time, blocking or deleting individual cookies may affect the operation of the Website or web application, in particular login to the Account, maintenance of an active session, saving of selected settings and the operation of other functionality for which such cookies are necessary.
9. Browser privacy preference signals (Global Privacy Control)
9.1. If the User’s browser or other software transmits a privacy preference signal supported by the Platform, in particular Global Privacy Control (GPC), that signal is processed in accordance with its technical purpose and the requirements of applicable law.
The list of supported signals and the consequences of receiving them are determined by the actual technical capabilities of the Platform. The use of, or absence of support for, an individual signal does not limit the User’s ability to manage their choice regarding cookies and other technologies through the Consent Manager.
10. Changes
10.1. A material change to the categories or purposes of optional cookies requires the information to be updated and, where necessary, a new choice to be made.
11. Contacts
11.1. The Platform Operator for a particular User is the INBULK Group legal entity named by the Country Addendum applicable to the User’s country of registration and recorded in the User’s Statement of Accession. The current list of the Platform Operators with their registration details, registered offices and contacts is published on the Platform Operators page: https://help.inbulk.com/en/operators . For a website visitor who has not acceded to the Agreement, the Platform Operator is determined in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
11.2. For questions relating to the use of cookies and other similar technologies, the User may write to [email protected].
11.3. The procedure and conditions for processing personal data, including data that may be processed in connection with the use of cookies and similar technologies, are set out in the INBULK.COM Privacy Policy, the edition in force of which is available at: https://help.inbulk.com/en/policies/privacy-policy
