Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging into the INBULK platform. It provides a comprehensive, real-time overview of your trading activity, delivery progress, financial status, and market insights β all in one place. Use the Dashboard to quickly assess your current operations and navigate to key actions.
π Today Overview
At the top of the Dashboard, you will find three summary cards that reflect your activity for the current day:
1. Active Businesses
- Displays the total number of currently active businesses (agreements)
- Only counts businesses in an active, non-completed status
- Click the card to navigate directly to the Businesses page for full details
- The number updates immediately when a new business is created or an existing one is completed
2. Delivery Progress
- Shows how much cargo has been delivered today versus the total planned volume
- Displayed as:
Delivered MT / Total MT - A progress bar visually represents the fulfillment percentage
- Color coding:
- π’ Green β on track (75%+ delivered)
- π‘ Yellow β in progress (25β74%)
- π΄ Red β behind schedule (below 25%)
- The delivered amount aggregates all completed voyages for the current day across all your active businesses
π‘ Tip: If the progress bar appears red early in the day, donβt worry β deliveries may still be in transit. Check again in the afternoon for a more accurate picture.
3. Finances
- Shows two key financial figures side by side:
- Invoiced Amount β total value of invoices issued today across all businesses
- Paid Amount β total payments received today across all businesses
- Amounts are displayed in your companyβs base currency (for example,
β΄for UAH) - The difference between invoiced and paid amounts helps you track outstanding receivables at a glance
- Click the card to navigate to a detailed financial breakdown in the Businesses section
π‘ Tip: The Today Overview cards update in real time. Refresh the page if you want to see the latest data after completing a transaction.
π Period Overview
Below the daily summary, the Period Overview section lets you analyze your trading activity across a broader timeframe.
Selecting a Period
- At the top of the section, locate the period selector toggle
- Choose one of three options:
- Week β current calendar week (Monday to Sunday)
- Month β current calendar month
- Year β current calendar year
- The chart and metrics will update automatically based on your selection
What You Will See
- Number of Orders β total orders created or participated in during the selected period
- Number of Businesses β total businesses (agreements) initiated during the selected period
- A bar chart showing the distribution of orders and businesses over time:
- Week view β one bar per day (Monday through Sunday)
- Month view β one bar per week
- Year view β one bar per month
Reading the Bar Chart
- Each bar has two segments β one for orders and one for businesses
- The Y-axis shows the count of orders and businesses
- The X-axis shows the time period (day, week, or month depending on the selected range)
- Hover over any bar to see the exact breakdown of orders and businesses for that period
Period Comparison
The Period Overview also shows a comparison indicator next to each metric:
- β¬οΈ Green arrow up β value increased compared to the previous period of the same length
- β¬οΈ Red arrow down β value decreased compared to the previous period
- β‘οΈ Gray arrow β no significant change
For example, if you select Month and the current month shows 15 orders while last month had 10, you will see 15 β¬οΈ +50%.
Quick Action: New Order
- A βNew Orderβ button is available in this section
- Click it to immediately start creating a new order without navigating away from the Dashboard
- You will be redirected to the Order Creation wizard (see the Order Creation documentation for details)
π‘ Tip: Use the Period Overview to identify trends. If you notice a dip in activity for a particular week, it may indicate seasonal patterns or market shifts worth investigating.
π Trading Summary
The Trading Summary section provides a visual breakdown of your overall trading direction β buying versus selling.
Donut Charts
Two donut charts are displayed side by side:
-
Buy vs Sell by Order Count
- Shows the proportion of purchase orders versus sale orders you have participated in
- Each segment is color-coded:
- π’ Green β Buy orders
- π΄ Red β Sell orders
- Hover over a segment to see the exact count and percentage
-
Buy vs Sell by Volume
- Shows the proportion of metric tons traded as a buyer versus as a seller
- Same color coding as above
- Helps you understand your net trading position
Quick Action: New Order
- A βNew Orderβ button is also available in this section
- Functions identically to the one in Period Overview β opens the Order Creation wizard
π‘ Tip: If one side of your trading (buy or sell) significantly outweighs the other, consider diversifying. A balanced portfolio reduces exposure to single-direction market risk.
π¦ Stocks
The Stocks section displays your current inventory levels across all products and storage facilities.
Inventory Table
The table contains the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Product Name | The commodity type (for example, Corn Class 1, Hard Wheat (seed)) |
| Current Stock | The amount currently in storage, displayed in metric tons (MT) |
| Capacity Utilization | A progress bar showing how full your storage is relative to maximum capacity |
Progress Bar Color Coding
- π’ Green β below 60% capacity (ample room)
- π‘ Yellow β 60β85% capacity (moderate usage)
- π΄ Red β above 85% capacity (nearing full)
Understanding Stock Levels
Stock data reflects the net balance at each storage facility:
- Inbound deliveries (completed unloading) increase stock
- Outbound shipments (completed loading) decrease stock
- Manual adjustments by warehouse operators are also reflected
How to Use Stocks Data
- Review the table to identify which products are overstocked or understocked
- Products nearing full capacity may need to be sold or moved to a different storage
- Products with low stock may need replenishment if you have active sale orders
- Cross-reference stock levels with your active orders to ensure you can fulfill commitments
- Use the capacity utilization percentage to plan future purchases β avoid buying more if storage is near full
β οΈ Important: Stock data is updated based on voyage completions and manual adjustments. If a delivery was recently completed but stock levels havenβt changed, wait a few minutes for the system to process the update.
π‘ Tip: If multiple products share the same physical storage facility, the capacity utilization reflects the combined usage. Plan accordingly to avoid overcommitting a single warehouse.
π₯§ Top Products
The Top Products section shows which commodities dominate your trading portfolio.
Pie Chart
- Displays the top 4 products by trading volume (measured in metric tons)
- Each product slice is a different color for easy identification
- The chart includes:
- Product name
- Volume in MT
- Percentage of total trading volume
Reading the Chart
- The largest slice represents your most-traded commodity
- Hover over each slice to see exact figures (volume in MT and percentage)
- Products outside the top 4 are grouped under βOtherβ
- The chart legend below the pie shows all product names with their corresponding colors
Top Products Table
Below the pie chart, a summary table lists:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Product | Commodity name and class |
| Volume (MT) | Total metric tons traded |
| % of Total | Percentage of your overall trading volume |
| Trend | Arrow indicator showing if volume is increasing or decreasing compared to the previous period |
Practical Use
- Identify your primary commodities at a glance
- Track volume trends β a declining top product may signal market shifts
- Use this insight for strategic planning:
- If one product dominates, consider whether to diversify
- If a product you want to grow is underrepresented, focus marketing and sourcing efforts there
- Compare your top products against seasonal demand patterns
π‘ Tip: Compare your Top Products data with market trends. If demand is shifting toward a product thatβs low in your portfolio, it may be an opportunity to adjust your trading strategy.
πΊοΈ Regions Performance
The Regions Performance section provides a geographic view of your business activity across Ukraine.
Interactive Map
- An interactive map of Ukraine is displayed, divided by administrative regions (oblasts)
- Regions are color-coded by intensity based on the volume of business activity:
- π’ Dark green β high activity (many orders, deliveries, businesses)
- π‘ Light green/yellow β moderate activity
- β¬ Gray/white β low or no activity
How to Interact with the Map
- Hover over a region to see a tooltip with:
- Region name (oblast)
- Number of active businesses in that region
- Total trading volume in MT
- Number of delivery points (storages, terminals)
- Click on a region to filter Dashboard data for that specific region
- Click again or click βClear Filterβ to return to the full-country view
Regions Summary Table
Below the map, a summary table provides a ranked list:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Region | Oblast name |
| Businesses | Number of active businesses |
| Volume (MT) | Total metric tons traded |
| Delivery Points | Number of active storage/delivery locations |
Practical Use
- Identify regional concentration β are you too focused on one area?
- Discover underserved regions where you might expand operations
- Correlate delivery logistics with geographic distribution to optimize transportation routes
- Use regional data to plan new storage facilities in high-demand but underserved areas
- Compare regional performance across time periods to spot emerging markets
π‘ Tip: If you notice high activity concentrated in a few regions, consider establishing partnerships or storage facilities in nearby regions to reduce transportation costs and expand your reach.
β οΈ Important: The Regions Performance map currently covers Ukraine only. If your company operates internationally, cross-border deliveries will be attributed to the Ukrainian region where the delivery point is located.
π‘ Tips
- β Check the Dashboard daily when you start your workday β it gives you a quick status snapshot without digging into individual sections
- β Use the βNew Orderβ quick action buttons to save time β no need to navigate to the Orders page first
- β Pay attention to the Delivery Progress card β if delivery is falling behind, investigate the active voyages in the Businesses section
- β Monitor Stocks regularly to avoid overstocking or running out of product before a delivery commitment
- β Review Top Products monthly to ensure your trading portfolio aligns with your business strategy
- β Use Regions Performance to plan logistics and identify new market opportunities
- β If financial figures seem incorrect, verify that all invoices and payments have been properly recorded in the corresponding businesses
- β The Dashboard respects your company context β if you manage multiple companies, switch companies in the sidebar to see each companyβs Dashboard separately
β οΈ Possible Errors
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard shows no data | New account with no trading activity yet | Create your first order or participate in an existing one to start generating data |
